I’m not gonna lie. These photos kind of disturb me. I have known this fair maiden since she was a wee 3 yrs old and watching her turn 16 is a bit surreal.  And now, even more mind blowing is how beautiful and grown-up she looks in these photos. How did this happen? 16? really? Where has the time gone? I remember hearing my mom say things like this and rolling my eyes.  Here we go again. But it really does go by in a flash. One minute you’re 18, the next minute…old. haha!

Anyway,  back to the present.  A couple of weeks ago Julia and I came together to work on her modeling portfolio. I really tried to bring more of a “fashion” edge than what I normally do. I thought she did a great job picking out the clothing, too! Unbelievably, these photos were all taken within a 3 mile radius of my home in Lewisville. I am always eager to try new areas but sometimes even your own backyard can have unexpected surprises.
