Hall Of State Engagement Session

Andi and Norberto are native Texans who love them some Dallas. They wanted to incorporate as many iconic Dallas locations into their engagement session and wedding as they could.

We started at Fair Park, specifically around the Hall of State. Which is also an amazing wedding venue. We then continued the second half at Texas Discovery Garden.

I cannot say enough good things about both of these locations. Specifically Hall of State. I feel is a seriously underrated wedding venue option. It was built by the State of Texas for the 1936 Centennial Exposition. It has hosted events honoring some of the most elite people – presidents, royalty, heads of state, and other dignitaries for over sixty years. I love the Historic Fair Park location just minutes from downtown Dallas. I had major heart eyes over the art deco architecture as soon as I walked up. Needless to say, it was the perfect place to photograph this Dallas-loving duo.

The thing I remember most about Andi and Norberto is how just plain happy they were – full of smiles throughout the entire shoot, and you could tell they were genuinely having fun together the entire day. They kept with their Dallas theme and later went on to get married at Old Red Museum planned by LaKisha at Renee’s Eventi. Stay tuned, because I can’t wait to share those photos with you!
