A couple things I learned this weekend…

news

the blog

1. Shooting mid day really isn’t so bad. Your colors look awesome and finding shade pockets really isn’t that hard. In fact, if you put your subject in a shade pocket right next to light shining on concrete it acts as a natural reflector. Some might say DUH!! but I just figured that out…2. Always let your subject take a nap before going to shoot

3. No matter how many times you try, the 50mm is just not meant for full body shots. It’s job is to make beautiful head/mid body shots.

4. Men get PMS too

5. Don’t be afraid to go to a certain location just because you think you’ll be chased off or people will wonder what the hell your doing. I don’t know why but sometimes that holds me back. You might miss out on an interesting spot!
