Ah yes, 16 months. We have now entered…the toddler stage. And as we say in my home state “Laissez les bons temps rouler”  lol. This picture is a perfect example of how she is right now. I don’t mean to say she’s screaming and crying all the time…but if we’re not doing exactly what she wants to do at that precise moment, this is what we get. And wearing a tutu, while mama tries to snap a pic was NOT on her agenda.

Thankfully the weather is getting nicer and we will be venturing outside for more shoots soon. I can’t wait! It feels like this has been the longest winter EVER! Winters are always so tough for on-location photographers. Nobody wants to freeze their butts for pictures…including me! ha. Although I would have LOVED to shoot a session in all that snow we got! Just thinking of photographing an engagement couple or a family dressed in bright colors, frolicking in the snow makes me wish it would snow again! Ok maybe not. But next year it’s SO on!

And in other news Asa is turning 5 in May and starting Kindergarten this year! I know I can’t believe it myself. So we are frantically trying to sell our house before school starts.

Oh yeah, that’s the other thing. We’re selling our beloved home. It’s just time for something bigger! We are squished and the toys keep multiplying. I am secretly holding out for a home with beautiful floor to ceiling North facing windows. Maybe a studio space too. And since I’m being wistful I would also like a new car to go with my new home. I’m sure if Sean reads this he is most likely rolling his eyes right now. I have many needs/dreams don’t I?

So that’s it. We’re hanging tough waiting for spring weather. And oh psst….bluebonnets are coming! Hello family photos! Last year I found this There was a for sale sign on the land so hopefully it’s still there. Fingers crossed. I’ll let you know!
