Rockwall Castle Wedding Photography Texas Featuring Fine Art Styling
I am lucky to be part of Haystack , a fun community of film photographers in Dallas, who occasionally get together and have styled “shoot outs”. It’s a way we can all meet fellow film nerds, work with talented wedding vendors and shoot something pretty. The only rule is, no digital! You must shoot all film.
This shootout took place at The Rockwall Castle venue, and was styled by Dallas wedding planner Meggie Francisco. From Meggie: “A palette of emerald, sage, and pale mint combined with warm grays and mixed metals to evoke a regal yet relaxed feeling. The design was built for a refined, artsy bride who wants to wrap her guests in true modern comfort..”
My favorite part was the different shades of green. Hmm..or maybe the mucho flower girls! Not to mention that bouquet by Jackson Durham. Holy moly. Is it just me or are bouquets bigger these days!? Quit possibly the largest bouquet I’ve seen, yet simple in design using only white flowers and greenery. So gorgeous! All around it was a unique concept including the model’s very daring, futuristic makeup by Wendy Zerrudo. So fun!
