Moody Wedding Editorial featured on 100 Layer Cake

I loved being a part of this fun collaboration between some amazing wedding vendors and film photographers in DFW. It was featured on 100 Layer Cake Blog, where it was appropriately titled “Moody burgundy wedding inspiration.” I think the deep, sultry colors make this the perfect photoshoot to share this time of year.

The bare, plaster walls and creaky wooden floors at The Trinity Institute made the perfect rustic backdrop. (However, creepy at times. eek!) And I was swooning over the old elegance of this bridal gown from The Blushing Bride Boutique. The red charm peonies, dark burgundy ranunculus, and hellebores from Everly Alaine Florals completed the romantic and moody feel we were going for with this shoot.
