Film Friday // Five

childhood, film fridays

the blog

Hello 2014!! Film Friday took a break for the holidays (which I am relieved to say is over) but it is back with fresh new filmy images.

I have quite a back log of images to share but I thought it would be fun to start with Chloe’s “birthday photo shoot”. Every year at birthday time I take the kids out to document another year gone by. Chloe turned five in November and I had the idea to do a “city” concept. The tune “hot child in the city…runnin wild and lookin pretty” kept running through my head as I was planning it. lol. I had grand ideas of taking her on the train or downtown but she’s still so wild which makes it hard if I don’t have a child wrangler present. aka DAD. So we skipped downtown and shot around Lewisville.

Lesson learned!Fun shoot in a retro post office.

If Chloe could be summed up in one image this would probably be it. hahahah. She’s my little Diva Pusher.Dallas photographer captures girl walking out door. Portra 800 outdoors.

Well, that’s it. Another year gone by. I will see Chloe off to Kindergarten in August. It seems like the years are flying by at breakneck speed. Yet, I find myself anxious for the next milestone. Why my mind is in a constant state of incongruity like this I will never know but 2014 is the year I hope to find balance in life. So here’s to 2014!! May it be the best year yet.
